Technical Interviewing - Some Thoughts on the Good and the Bad

Am I the only one that thinks more than two interviews is over kill? I think a phone interview first, and then an in person interview would be sufficient for most positions. I can see why there might be more than two interviews if it were for a chief role but other than that, over kill
